Places To Party In Bangalore

December 10 December 9 December 8

This morning we went to the Kulturhuset, the cultural center of Stockholm.
A building huge, majestic.
Inside there is something for everyone. Several cultural events, exhibitions
, children's events, concerts, movies, dibatitti and many other things.
We visited the gallery of Tomoko Sawada
an acclaimed young Japanese photographer,
whose work plays with the stereotypical roles of women in Japanese society.

And we also have witnessed the installation of Larissa Sansour
palestineseche deals with a young artist in his work of political situation in the Middle East, c on a mild and subtle humor.

Then we saw An installation on India.
15 contemporary artists with roots in India and Pakistan
showing the state of India,
what it means to live in India today.
A continent that has been growing strongly, but continues to be rooted in the traditions,
a continent where past and present coexist.

From kulturehuset you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city.

lunch we came back home and in the afternoon we reached the island of Skeppsholmen.
The island was owned by the Swedish Navy until the nineteenth century. Today welcomes some museums (modernamuseet arkitekturmuseet and all) and two youth hostels.
The island is very small and is connected by a bridge (kastellholmsbron) to an island smaller still, like a huge rock, called Kastellholmen.
On the latter there is a small castle, Kastellet, which was built by Fredrik Blom.

Ritorniamiamo walk to the nearest T-bana to move into the area from the bridge and Östermalm you can enjoy a fantastic view!

For Östermalm do a quick round of shopping and Karlaplan the area, but given the late hour (here the shops close at 19.00) and the low temperature we decide to go home.
you soon!
